A time to give thanks and give back.

A time to give thanks and give back.

Where we all connect with family and friends over food, laughter, and most importantly, love. Sharing our bounty where it’s needed and sharing the required love where it’s needed everywhere.

The message always is that we are all needed to help heal and give in any way we can to those who need it. We are, after all, all called to do service, and of course, there are so many ways we can do that. Yes, it doesn’t have to be magnitude; it can be a simple task like helping someone who is struggling with a package who is elderly. Or giving a smile to someone you just feel is down. The ways are endless, and what better way to share “Thanks-giving”.

Now, “giving” more than ever is so needed in our country. To not have food for children and the elderly, the richest country in the world, my only thought is shame. For most of you folks who maybe live in rural towns, and even large cities, the need to give to shelters and organizations that feed people is like never before. I’ve been, as I’m sure most of you have seen, so many mothers going without food to make sure their children eat, and as I said before, it is simply shameful.

My local market has a list of families that you can provide for on Thanksgiving or as a general sponsor. Of course, it’s always focused on Thanksgiving, but you can provide for a week, a month or more. As you can see, I’m deeply upset about these families not having food, for no reason; they live off SNAP benefits that are being taken from them. This is not a luxury; this is as basic as it gets.

This is not about politics; this is about people’s lives and basic needs. I always love my November newsletter because it’s about “Thanks-giving” and what it means to share in the bounty of love, and sharing with those who need just to be with a friend, if they choose not to be alone.

Now, we are in a level of need for so many where usually there are so many food pantries to go around, but that is not the case; now many of them are struggling.

So my friends, I have no doubt you will do your part to step up to the “plate” where you are needed. There is always a need for “All you need is Love”.

If you have any recommendations, please reply and share, as I will link to them in an upcoming newsletter and on social to help our communities.

As for me, here are just a few of my upcoming goings on: Small group readings on November 11th and November 25th, Holiday Messages with Medium Austyn Wells LIVE on November 17th, and I’ll be in Sturbridge, MA for in-person private and gallery readings on December 10th! And, yes, I’m coming to Southern California in January and February. Looking forward to seeing all of you who are on the West Coast!

Love and warmly,
Suzane
