Each New Year, I talk about the new universal number, which for 2026 is 1. As you look at the number 1, it’s obvious that it’s all about beginnings.
2+0+2+6 = 1. In a one universal year, there can be new ventures, progressive plans, and activities. Great strides are made in 1 years, feats of daring are attempted, and often independence is sought. Beginnings are made, but results are unrealized until later years. Exploration flourishes in a 1 year, and people and nations tend to be more courageous and strong-willed. We just ended a 9-year cycle of endings, so buckle your belts for new and go-get em adventures!
To find out your own personal year in 2026:
To calculate, add each number of your birth month and day to the current year, and reduce the sum like this:
Example: If you were born on April 1. In 2026, your personal year would be
4+1+2+0+2+6 = 15/6 . You are in a 6 personal year.
I think for many, we are all ready for a new energy.
Just a note that for the Chinese, this New Year is the Year of the Horse. Recent years of the Horse include 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954, and 1942. 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse. It is associated with the earthly branch sign of wu.
I have always felt that with new energy, or especially going into new numbers or astrological charts, it’s always nice to get a check-up. On another note, I know many of you who have gone through some very deep and difficult losses this past year have had to dig very deep and pull up your boot straps and have found a way to cherish life! If there is nothing else, I know so very true that connecting with those loved ones in spirit is to embrace life. For some reason, only our souls know why we are still meant to be here in the land of the living.
