Well, as promised last month, April showers have brought us May flowers. I’m sure you have noticed. May is here!
May flowers bring about the need to share our love, especially with our moms, including those who represent motherhood, and those who have been life moms.
If your mom is on the Other Side, she may contact you around Mother’s Day. DP (dead person) contact often occurs around the holidays and birthdays and anniversaries.
As I’ve noted before, my office phone rings the most on Mother’s Day and Christmas. Maybe I should say it’s the new “ZOOM room,” instead of “my office”.
Like many, I have been in the world of Zoom. This year, I’m taking advantage of not only celebrating Mothers Day on Blog-talk but also I’m doing a Mother’s Day webinar! Do check out all my May Mother’s Day and other Gallery events.
Over the years, I’ve heard so many Mother’s Day stories from so many folks. Recently, my mother’s aid who is a mother of five girls, said that she hasn’t seen her own mom in over two years. She shared with me how her mom lives in Maine by the Appalachian/Arcadian forest where she had spent so many of her summers. Those were such special moments for her. Good for her to remember.
It’s a good idea to revisit those times when we laughed, loved, and shared our Mother’s Day events. Those days were special, and remembering those days can generate wonderful feelings. Enjoy this coming Mother’s Day as well.
Allow me to give tribute to all of those folks who want to be reminded of their moms and mother figures on Mother’s Day. Whether she is around, or you are missing her, and/or if you are a mom, keep thinking of the “mom moments” that make your smile.
Warmly,
Suzane
