New Beginnings and Endless Possibilities

New Beginnings and Endless Possibilities

This is the month when parents are beyond thrilled that their kids are going back to school, and life may return to normal. Hum, that probably is right, however, I think there are plenty of kids who are thrilled to go back to school too – where they get to engage in very important social skills and do things they love: sports, reading books, creating music/art or just hanging with friends they haven’t seen all summer.

Life’s not about summer forever and honestly, that could get very boring. We all need structure and goals, be exposed, and to learn so many things that can enrich our lives and build character. It’s those amazing teachers and educators who do this important job for love. God knows they should be paid more and once again be respected. In so many ways young people are influenced by teachers, coaches, or school activities. The latest coach admiration has been Tim Waltz, who says, “Just coach”.

There is another reason why being exposed to numerous activities is good for you – you might just discover something that inspires you to pursue further. You may not be successful at it but if you don’t try, you will go through life with “if I only….”.

That was something so many learned during the pandemic, they had a passion and were forced to make a change and went for it which resulted in many folks creating new businesses.

Yes, and sometimes we may have to do anything to pay rent, food, or basic needs. That too can and does build important aspects of our character and sense of self-accomplishment.  Who knows, it may lead you down a path you never thought you’d be good at.

With all this talk about life’s loves, wants, or needs, we notice that we have been ingrained from a young age through high school to start new beginnings in September. So kids, this year the timing may just be ripe for you to go for it, doing something you’ve always wanted to do or learning something new.

I can truly attest that in my world, there are so many folks who have always wanted to study mediumship, tarot cards, astrology, learn to meditate, or explore many of the healing arts. For you animal lovers -there are so many places to connect with animal communicators or specifically working with horses who are attuned and known to help veterans and others with trauma or PTSD.

There are even practitioners and ranches where you can go and explore these wonderful awe-inspiring animals. I’ve had some of those folks on my blog-talk show (including Gwen McPhail coming up on Monday, September 9th!) and they shared amazing stories, love, and passion with these amazing animals. I don’t even need to say all the kitty and doggie lovers who volunteer their time and get so much enjoyment and love.

So, Summer may be fading but Fall is here and there are so many wonderful things you can plug into.

I will add another thought: for those who are retired, continuing plugging in is extremely important. You may not want to retire if your company or employer is letting you go. Take that energy and turn it into unlimited possibilities awaiting you. And yes, you can turn that into making money if that is your need or want.

Here are a few of the very cool events I’ve got coming up: online small group readings this Thursday at 6:30pm and September 17th.

Check them out and check out my new in-person sessions, too, including NYC on September 12th.

Thanks, everyone for all the sweet comments about my new videos, I’m so enjoying them.

Happy Labor and Love Day! To everyone as the song says, “See you in September”!

Warmly,

Suzane
