Spring is on its way!
The March Equinox (March 19th) marks the sun’s crossing above the Earth’s equator, moving from south to north. It will happen at 3:06 on March 20, 2024 (10:06 p.m. CDT on March 19).
The March Equinox – aka the vernal Equinox – marks the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. No matter where you are on Earth, the Equinox brings us a number of seasonal effects, most noticeable to nature lovers around the globe.
It is the wonders of each season, a time and a reason, that give us the sparks, energy, and just maybe…I need to do this NOW. The renewal of Spring brings us to these thoughts. There is something very powerful about this energy that is often put into play. And if we dig deep in our souls and follow, just maybe our “paths”.
As we know in life, it isn’t always easy to follow our dreams and heart desires. The next step is how we can follow those dreams. It is said that when there is a will, there is a way.
I just recently re-read the words spoken from loved ones who were about to pass/crossover. The number one regret is: I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
“This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people have not honored even half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.
It is very important to try and honor at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realize until they no longer have it.”
The good news is: I have met many many folks, men and women of all ages, who have done just that. They followed those dreams and have never looked back. Often when we are pushed with no alternative, we find a way! I vividly remember in 2008/2009 the crash. So many had to leave their jobs and homes to start a new life, personally and or professionally.
On a fun note, March is also one of my fun holidays, St. Patrick’s Day. There is no way around not having fun with this holiday from New York’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade to Boston, and even Savannah, Georgia where they have huge celebrations. One can listen to Celtic music, do an Irish gig, have a beer, wear green, and “kiss me” even if you’re not Irish! In New York, there are anywhere from 100 to 200 thousand folks marching with over 2 million spectators! You can be sure as well every pub is filled to the brine, with people laughing and having fun. Usually, the whole bar listens to bagpipes and sings “Oh Danny Boy!”
Last but not least, it’s time to bring out the gardening tools and dig away!
Here are just a few of my upcoming groups, blog-talk guests, and Zoom events and in-person goings-on below!
Warmy with love,
Suzane
