Will March Be a Lion or a Lamb?

Will March Be a Lion or a Lamb?

Time will tell.
What I do know is that the vernal equinox is March 21st, 2023. Spring! The March equinox, or the northward equinox, is the equinox on the Earth when the subsolar point appears to leave the Southern Hemisphere and crosses the celestial equator, heading northward as seen from Earth.
I am always in awe and wonder of each season. Spring is what I need to do in this NOW season. Spring energy inspires us to begin, finish, and follow our dreams.
Now, in life, we know that it isn’t always that easy to follow our hearts. Instead, follow our hearts, and revisit those dreams we’ve always wanted to follow.
The next step brings up the how, why, and what we can do to make things happen. I may also add, we just finished the month of the heart, and now we have the opportunity of Spring to follow up and put our energy into that dream.
When people realize that their life is almost over, and look back, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people have not honored even half of their dreams, knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.
I just recently re-read the words spoken by loved ones who were about to pass over. The nurses asked them what was there number one regret. They said, “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not that life others expected of me.”
It is important to try and honor at least some of your dreams along the way. Unfortunately, when you begin to lose your health, it is often too late.
It is so awe-inspiring to see how life comes alive from Winter into Spring.  There is not a person alive who doesn’t feel it, who wants to play hooky, and quite literally “smell” the flowers. Smell the flowers, follow a dream, or at least attempt to try.
We should lest not forget one of the “most” fun March festivities, good ole Saint Patrick’s Day! One can listen to Celtic music, do an Irish gig, have a beer, and wear green. Truly a fun holiday and very much celebrated certainly in New York City. Yes, there is Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in New York.  And there are parades in Boston and in many other places. I was just in Savanna, Georgia where I learned it’s a huge celebration.
In the New York City Saint Patrick’s parade, there are anywhere from 100 to 200 thousand folks marching with 2 million spectators!
You can be sure that every pub is filled to the brim with people laughing and having fun. While listening to bagpipes and the crowd singing, “Oh Danny Boy!” If you never thought about it, bagpipes are very hard to play if you don’t have a good set of lungs.
I know someone whose husband went way beyond celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day, with a closet filled with his favorite choice of kilts! Nothing like guys showing off those bare legs.
Now, I’m giving my personal toast to all of you to celebrate the beginning of Spring to everyone! I’m getting ready to go dancing in the Spring with lots of in-person events. To name a few, I’ll be in Methuen, MA, Tarrytown, NY and Baltimore, MD.
Love,
